Theidea throughout the work has been to primarily help bridge designers compilingadvice and instructions on how fatigue verification for railway bridges in reinforcedconcrete shall be performed under the new rules, the Eurocodes.After the introduction of the Eurocodes in 2011 has major problems emerged amongdesigners around Sweden. In some areas, it differs in the calculation rules comparedwith rules from the Swedish Transport Administration and the National Board ofHousing, Building and Planning calculation. Fatigue verification is one area where thenew calculation rules are different from the past.A large part of the report has been to interpret and find the relevant information inthe Eurocodes concerning fatigue. When questions or doubts have surfaced, this hasbeen discussed with Elisabeth Helsing at the Swedish Transport Administration andbridge designers at Ramboll.The result is a report where the structure is organized in the way that the bridgedesigners can move from cover to cover and realize that fatigue verification in realityfollows the same order as the report's sections.

In 1911 Valfrid Palmgren founded the Children's Library of Stockholm, the very first in Sweden.She was a well-educated woman, who believed in social and educational equality for all.During a journey to the USA in 1907, she was deeply impressed by the public libraries, andshe put many of the public library ideas to use in the Children's Library of Stockholm. Palmgrenstrongly opposed to the Swedish libraries not allowing admission to children, since shefirmly believed that educating the people had to start with the children.Other reasons for opening a children's library were to give children an alternative to roamingthe streets, to give children a quiet place to read, to give an alternative to the cheap trashliterature that flooded the market and to teach the young ones how to extract information frombooks. This paper illustrates the working conditions at the copper factory in Åtvidaberg during 1800-1890 from different views. The highest salary was given to the building contractor. Thereafter came in order the rust turners, the garmaker, the melter, the ore booker, the factory supervisor and the garmaker hand. Also the rest of the working conditions for different employees might differ from each other in this order. The mine workers generally earned a little less than the other workers at the factory, and especially the workers in the Bersbo mine.

Palmgren, Veronica (2010). Barns inflytande. Malmö, Lärarutbildningen, Malmö Högskola. Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur sex pedagoger resonerar kring barns inflytande i verksamheten, på två förskoleavdelningar. Den ena avdelningen driver en Reggio Emilia inspirerad verksamhet och den andra avdelningen arbetar inte efter någon uttalad pedagogik eller filosofi.

Abstract Fenomenet läxa ? osynligt i teorin, motsägelsefullt i praktiken är en kvalitativ studie med fenomenografisk forskningsansats som genomförts av Jonna Palmgren och Sofie Magnusson. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka vilka olika synsätt dagens lärarstudenter inom enheten Barn Unga Samhälle på Malmö högskola har gällande läxor. Studien är även tänkt att väcka tankar kring läxan, dess syfte och användning samt synliggöra läxan som en del av undervisningen i dagens lärarutbildning. Studien belyser bland annat att läxan förekommer i dagens skolundervisning, trots att den inte finns inskriven i styrdokumenten sedan 15 år tillbaka, och diskuterar vad det kan bero på.
